Painting straight lines

I’m really terrible at painting straight lines. How do I do it? Watch the video below.

  1. First: I use tape to define the line. Make sure the tape is straight and prevent paint from getting under the tape by pressing the tape well. You’ll notice this technique works better on a flat canvas than a one with a lot of structure.
  2. Then fill in the line with the correct colour. In this case: titanium white
  3. Remove the tape
  4. Correct the line where necessary with a clean brush and a little liquin.
